Cordial partnered with Twitch to provide four Monarch School students TwitchCon tickets this year and every year that the convention will take place here in sunny San Diego.
San Diego Rescue Mission is a non-profit recovery and rehabilitation center serving thousands of men, women and children experiencing homelessness in San Diego since 1955. The Cordial team partnered with the dedicated staff at San Diego Rescue Mission to assist with meal service for the homeless.
Founded in 2013, Stella’s Child exists to support Indonesian youths from disadvantaged backgrounds as they prepare to leave children's homes and orphanages and enter the world of work. They equip youths, aged 4-19, with the skills they need to succeed in life and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their families. The Cordial team visited Stella's Child and spent a day helping out and working with the children. Watch the video!
Monarch strives to meet student’s basic needs so that they can better focus on school. The Butterfly Boutique is an on campus “store” where student shop for items to help meet some of these basic needs. All items in the boutique are provided through donations from the community and are free of cost to students. The Cordial team donated 20 pairs of shoes to the Butterfly Boutique for the back-to-school shopping season.
Voices for Children believes that every child deserves a safe and permanent home and, to that end, will provide a trained CASA volunteer to every abused, abandoned, or neglected child who needs one, and advocate to improve the lives of children in the foster care system. The Cordial team donated school supplies and 50 backpacks to the Voices for Children foundation to help with back to school efforts.
The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and our North County Food Bank chapter comprise the largest hunger-relief organization in San Diego County. Last year, the Food Bank distributed 28 million pounds of food, and the Food Bank serves, on average, 350,000 people per month in San Diego County. The Cordial team visited the food back and packed 900 boxes with 26,100 lbs of food totaling 21,750 meals. Cordial also raised enough money to donate 5464 meals.
Since 1974, RMHC has created programs that strengthen families during difficult times. RMHC provides vital resources and compassionate care to children and their families being served by leading hospitals worldwide. Core RMHC programs provide access to health care and enable family-centered care. Cordial participated in a bike build and donated 5 bikes to Ronald McDonald House.
The Ocean Beach Parks and Recreation department is the front line of defense for pollution prevention for the Ocean Beach community. Cordial employees partnered with the San Diego Parks Department to clean up Dog Beach and the beach surrounding the Ocean beach Pier. The team collected 10 bags of trash.
